“There is an occasion for everything and a time for every activity under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
I love this definition of time from the Bible and when you put it with this one, “the continuum of experience in which events pass from future through present and past.” It really gets you thinking.
TIME.. do we ever have enough of it?
I hear people say things like… ‘there are just not enough hours in a day.’ ‘where did the time go?’ Time passes quickly when there are things that need to be done. Or when you just need a little time to relax. That’s what I have been experiencing lately. Not enough time!! There are things I must do daily, people to take care of, things that need to be planned, and then my own personal needs!
So I looked up time, and here are some of the definitions I found:
Time… an instance, single event,or occasion.(okay, got that one.)
A period of time considered as a resource under your control and sufficient to accomplish something. (are you kidding me?)
To set the speed, duration, execution, or expectation of.. (yep, been there, done that!)
I thought I would share some of the things that I have been a huge part of my time lately…
Over the week-end, we entertained the grandchildren! Then on Sunday….
Kay Kay’s sisters gave her a bridal shower… it was such a special time with family and very close friends!! There is just no substitute for Loving, Supporting and Praying friends.. each person who was invited has a such a special place in our hearts!!
And I will leave you with this to ponder…
“Strength and honor are her clothing and she can laugh at the time to come.” (Proverbs 31:25)
This is my prayer for my children and for each of you my Sweet Friends!!
In Him,
Sharon

Anything that starts with a definition has my interest!
Loved the pics, and even a wee snippet of the bridal shower that bodes of fun to come.
What a joyous "time" for your family. May the making of many memories and merriment be a rich blessing.
Hugs,
Kathleen
Glad to see you posting. I thought you might have gotten into your pajamas and liked it so much, you forgot about us!! =)
Time is always on my mind as I waste it--too much. But I do remember the days when every minute was packed with activities. Then there was never any time for myself--now too much! That's okay--these seasons of life are all different, and quite wonderful really.
I am so thrilled for your daughter. The shower really starts the wedding fun, doesn't it?? Such fun!
It looks like you made great use of your time last weekend. I always enjoy pics of your family. Such beautiful people!
I thought the same as "a portland granny" (love her picture). You did get your "Pajama" day in? The pictures of your family and the shower are beautiful.
Time? What is that? I've got lots of it (I thought) but some days it's busy, busy, busy all day. It takes a lot of time blogging and I do love it.
Bless you, my friend,
AliceE.
