Finding Joy

I have something exciting and amazing to share with you today....

This 'Bloggy Thing' has afforded me many news friends and I can't thank them enough for their friendship and sisterhood....  AND NOW IT HAS BROUGHT  me a new friend through one of my blogging buddies.

Kathy, my friend in Tampa, emailed me on Thursday to say that she had  friends that had just moved to my city, who are looking for a church.  I said have them check out my church online.....

They did, Joy called me on Friday and met me in church on Sunday.... Kathy chatted with me last night and is still amazed at how God worked this out!!

A friend of mine would say, "God is Good" and indeed He is , but I have another friend that says, " fried chicken is good, God is AWESOME!"

AS I have said before, you never know what a day will bring..... it just may be a new friend!!

COUNT IT ALL JOY!!!

AND the more friends that I have the happier I seem to be!! I have always needed friends. This is a neat way to do it. I have met many of my fellow bloggers and would LOVE to meet more. What a neat way to get to meet..

I am so happy for you getting to invite someone to your church from Blogdom. I have gone over to Kathy's blog and left a comment. I think that is so cool that her son in law got to meet Lt Dan. My mom used to say, "You can't have too many friends!" I agree. I don't know what I would do without my sweet friends. I hope you had a great weekend with your little people. I can't wait to meet them one of these days. If you talk with Susanne I will be working on my post for the book. I am loving the book. Take care and don't let the bed bugs bite!

I hope you develop a wonderful friendship. I'm back from not blogging and am gradually making my way through all the posts I missed out on during my self imposed vacation from blogging.

I like the things you say about Beth Moore. This fall will be the first year our ladies' Bible study will be doing one of her Bible studies. We have done Precepts for the last 5-6 years, so this will be a great change for us. I'm anxious to get to know more about her as we use her materials.

Trust your summer is going well and your days are full and wonderful.

Blessings,
Joan

so today - i talked with Joy just before the two of you were meeting for lunch. I couldn't in words really explain the way that God has planned this lunch and ordained it and then arranged it through the INTERNET that Al Gore created of all things!?!?! It is still just beyond my scoped of understanding as I am awed by how we are all so soul connected and have found each other!! I know that you had a lunch filled with laughter, joy and promise!! I AM SO JEALOUS - we are going to do lunch all together and SOON!! love, Kathy
